The mother of a Pembroke Pines man is asking the public for help in finding her son, who has been missing; his car was found in Mississippi.
The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and Simpson County Sheriff's Department are working with police in South Florida to look for 25-year-old Justin Ripley, after he went missing on Saturday. Police say he was last seen Saturday morning, when he left for work at 7:30 a.m.
"I hope he's taken a short leave, and trying to pull himself together," said his mother Mary Ripley.
Ripley's car was found in Simpson County, on Highway 49 Tuesday afternoon. He did leave a suicide note in his car, but police say this is not the first note he's left.
He has brown hair and brown eyes, is about 5'9, 140 lbs., and has a large tattoo on his right arm. If you have any information contact M.B.I. at 601-987-1530 or the Simpson County Sheriff or call the Pembroke Pines Police Department (954) 431-2200.
